After the unprecedented nature of the year 2020, we as the Hildebrand Attorneys team closed our office on 23 December 2020 for a short Christmas break. The team returned to work on 6 January 2020 with the second wave of the Covid-19 virus officially under way in South Africa.
Returning to work in the context of Covid-19 has allowed us to capitalize on all that we have experienced and learned over the past few months and employ the practices and processes we implemented during the accelerated crisis response.
The team has had the opportunity to also build on the personal experiences encountered during the crisis and to go further than fostering open dialogues and open practices around our and our clients’ well-being, but to now embed well-being into every aspect of our work design.
Yet, amid the uncertainty and tragedy, the team returns with a strong undercurrent of hope and determination. The new year is a time of hope and renewal and we are determined to move the firm up a gear and to grow our way out of the current challenges.
In 2021, we look forward to continued growth by implementing the strategies and plans to continue to capitalize on the tremendous opportunities that we are fortunate the firm is exposed to. We are committed to the continual innovation and to delivering the same high level of performance that we have always aimed to offer.
As part of our efforts to empower young learners we will have two interns joining our team in January and February respectively. Both interns have a legal background with one completing her 65 hours of the ‘Work-Integrated Learning’ required in part completion of a BCom Law degree and the other having completed a Paralegal course.
